Years ago we started going to the zoo on Christmas Day. Back then we pretty much had the place to ourselves, but that isn't true any more. There were many, many people enjoying the nice weather and animals right along with us. Sure beat sitting in a movie theater.
Several years ago we visited the SA Zoo with my sister and our neice during the days between Christmas and New Years. Our 10-year old neice really enjoyed it and so did the rest of us.
