Our first night on the road we stayed in the parking lot of a very warm and welcoming United Methodist Church in Edna, TX. We had an excellent Mexican dinner at Palacio's that night and the next morning went inside the church to say thank you and take photos. Our second night on the road was quite different. We stayed at Coushatta Casino. There is an RV park there but it was full so we boondocked in the parking lot. It was free and is a nice safe place to stay with security roaming around all night. No, we did not gamble. We didn't even eat there because there restaurant allowed smoking. Ack! We ate leftovers and left early the next morning for Vidalia, LA.
