We went down to see the ruins up close and it wasn't until after we got down there we saw the way up! EEEK! Actually, it wasn't nearly as scary as it looks.

We went down to see the ruins up close and it wasn't until after we got down there we saw the way up! EEEK! Actually, it wasn't nearly as scary as it looks.
Colorado: Mesa Verde - July 31
Cliff Palace is the largest and best known cliff dwelling in all of North America. About 150 people lived here during the height of its occupation. They left about 1275AD and migrated south and west.
We went to Hovenweep and Chaco Canyon years ago, but this was our first trip to Mesa Verde. Very impressive.
