| This is smoke from the fires, not clouds, and what we'd see in the sky first thing in the morning. The fires are still burning but the rains have started and we have not seen or smelled any smoke here for over a week. |

| The first day we got some serious rain, we drove to Great Sand Dunes NP to see the dunes. Note the little specks along the bottom of the dunes. Those are people. |
