| It is tricky getting photos of lightning but Galen managed to get not one but two photos as most of the folks at Ozark RV park lingered around the bathhouse during a tornado warning on April 20. |

Tornado Warning - Mountain View, AR
Bee and Campfire
I got a new knee about a month ago so haven't been doing a lot or getting on line much either but I am doing well and am getting my life back. Here are a few photos:

| Galen took this cool photo of a flower and a bee. |

| Roger and Marie regularly host campfires and popcorn at the RV park but they have gone home and won't return until fall. |

Geocaching in Labelle, FL
Larry, Lu, Galen went geocaching in Labelle today.
![]() |
| Larry on the best climbing tree in Labelle. |
![]() |
| A second cache is located on an island near the climbing tree. |
![]() |
| We thought this was the climbing tree at first, but there was an even better tree a little further on. |
![]() |
| Lu found the cache. |
![]() |
| Part of the climbing tree. |
![]() |
| A cache was located in this very pretty park we would never have discovered on our own. It was a perfect day for walking the trails. |
![]() |
| The cache here is a virtual cache. There is no physical log to sign but there were two questions to answer or a photo to take to prove we were there. |

| We shot this photo on the way home from Labelle because we thought our nephew from Kansas would find it interesting. There are a bunch of trucks full of oranges on the roads this time of year. |

Solomon's Castle

| Solomon's Castle in Ona, FL. It took Mr. Solomon 14 years to build. The outside of the castle is made of newpaper printing plates. |

| Galen, Lu, and Larry inside the boat in the moat. |
![]() |
| We stopped here to have walnut pie (very good) after the tour. |
![]() |
| The Castle and the Boat in the Moat. It took four years to build the boat. |
![]() |
| Galen with one of the many sculptures. |
![]() |
| The sculptures are made from things most of us throw away. |
![]() |
| Dueling pistols. Mr. Solomon has a quirky sense of humor. |
![]() |
| One of the larger sculptures. |
![]() |
| Another form of art Mr. Solomon is pretty darn good at. |
![]() |
| After visiting the real Alamo, Mr. Solomon decided he wanted his own Alamo so built one. |
Arcadia, FL

| Inside Wheeler's. A sign behind the counter says they will accept checks from people 80 or older if accompanied by their parents. |

We're Expecting!
![]() |
| One of the sandhill crane couples that hang around the RV park have an egg on a nest. In this first photo the mother is adding grass to the nest. |
![]() |
| Mama sandhill crane giving a small blue heron a dirty look. I wonder if small blue herons like eggs? |
![]() |
| Rolling the egg. |
![]() |
| The egg has been rolled into view. |
![]() |
| It will be a month before the egg hatches and we'll be gone by then so won't get to see the new baby sandhill. :-( |
